Offering Bowls
These small bowls are great for leaving offerings in. They are glazed stoneware and vary in size from 1.5 to 4 or so inches in diameter. (See the quarter coin for scale). Some are quite rounded and cup-shaped, others are quite flat, some are shiny, some are satin or matte. Some are green, others are purple, some are black. You get the picture, there are a wide variety.
Elemental Offering Bowl Set
These bowls are all glazed stoneware, fired in reduction.
My sense of them is that they form a set and that they loosely correspond to
the elements of air, fire, water, and earth.
3-4in diameter x 2-3in tall.
Bread Raising Bowls
This bowl is the first in a series of experiments around 'printing' sayings on loaves of bread by raising the bread in a bowl with letters that will imprint on it. In this case, the homemade loaf of whole wheat-flaxseed-sunflower seed-rolled oat wild yeast sourdough bread is pure love. And yummy to boot. Please note that I only raise the bread in this bowl, I take it out of the bowl and put it on a cookie sheet to bake it.
If you can imagine a ceramic item you'd like me to create, please contact me - I'd be happy to discuss a custom project with you! Also, I have more photos to put up of kalla cups and some scrying/meditation bowls so check back soon.
